Summer Sweets in Beaumont
Today I will go over two different small businesses I had the chance to try in Beaumont, Texas. Both are amazing food choices and I'll let you know my experience, why, and what I enjoyed.
For starters, we have Kaylan Burton's Banana Pudding Cones! Ms. Burton currently offers her sweet creations on her Facebook page. When I stumbled upon pictures of her cones through Facebook, they looked delicious, and I HAD to try it! She offers different variations of the dessert cones such as Banana pudding, Strawberry cheesecake, Fruity Pebbles, and Oreo.
My first order from her was the Strawberry cheesecake cone and I can say that it was DELICIOUS. The cone had a full filling, the crumble on top was fresh, and it tasted like a strawberry cheesecake but lighter. It was the perfect summer dessert for those with a sweet tooth. The second time I had ordered the Banana pudding cone for a companion and they loved it 😍. Since then she has had a stream of customers and also added a new form to her treats by selling her desserts in plastic cups, cupcakes, and more! Don't miss out on this perfect summer dessert! Our second review will be on Keochia Sims plates and Icecream! This young lady does it all and plans to run a food truck soon! What I believe that sets her apart from a vast majority of cooks is her drink infused Ice Cream. Her current flavors are Henny Colada, Stella Berry, Crown Apple, Crown Vanilla, and many more!
I had the opportunity to try a Birria taco plate from her and a shake made with her Henny Colada Icecream.
The taco meat was SAVORY and the tortillas were fried just enough to get a nice crisp when you bite. The homemade salsa tasted fresh and paired great with the plate! My only complaint with the order was that I wanted my shake to be bigger lol, but the taste alone was AMAZING! The shake was soft and creamy, the flavors were blended in nicely making every sip enjoyable. I will be ordering more from her soon! ORDER from Keochia Sims! check her Facebook page.
